Silo Rewards Agreement - Platinum Points

Introduction

This Silo Platinum Program Agreement (the Agreement) sets the terms and conditions for your enrollment in the Silo Platinum Points plan (the Program). The Program is offered by Silo Financial LLC (Silo), a registered investment adviser. Brokerage services are provided to Silo clients by Interactive Brokers LLC (IBKR), a registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC.

Program Overview

Under the Platinum Points plan, eligible clients accrue Silo Points at an annual rate equal to 0.5x of their account’s NLV on the first $500,000 of NLV, resulting in a maximum of 250,000 points per year. To accrue points for any month, you must maintain a minimum NLV of $25,000 as of the last business day of that month. The Program is available exclusively to subscribed clients who maintain eligibility.

Status Benefits

The Silo Status Program is available exclusively to Silo Platinum Rewards Members in good standing.

Account balance is calculated as the average daily net liquidation value (NLV) over the prior calendar month as reported by the custodian. You qualify on the first day of the month following your first full month meeting the threshold. Benefits suspend after six consecutive months below threshold and resume once threshold is met for one full month.

This Program is limited to one enrollment per Social Security Number (SSN). For purposes of meeting the balance threshold, the total value across all eligible account types held under the same SSN may be combined. Each account type’s net liquidation value contributes toward the applicable threshold, allowing members to unlock Preferred or Elite Status based on their aggregate holdings across accounts.

Reimbursement Process

Submit proof of subscription to support@silomarkets.com from the email used for your Silo account. Make sure the subject used includes the name of the subscription service. Include your name, amount paid, and latest charge date. Monthly subscriptions charged within the last 30 days will be credited and annual fees charged within the last year (365 days) will be credited once proof of subscription is processed.

Membership Fees and Billing

The annual membership fee is $960. Any subscription that begins on or before 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the last day of a calendar month is eligible for a points credit in the following month, provided all other eligibility criteria are met. Membership fees are non-refundable unless Silo determines otherwise in exceptional circumstances. Clients may contact Silo Support with an explanation to request a refund.

Upgrades, Downgrades, and Cancellation

You may upgrade your plan at any time; the higher plan’s terms apply beginning with the next calendar month following the upgrade, and points accrual will reflect the upgraded plan starting that month. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and a final points credit for that cycle will be issued if eligibility requirements are met. After cancellation, no additional charges will occur unless you re-subscribe.

Points Accrual and Crediting

Monthly points are calculated using the NLV reported by IBKR as of market close on the last business day of each month, with monthly accrual equal to the annual accrual (0.5x NLV on the $500,000) divided by 12; for example, an $325,000 NLV earns 162,500 points annually and is credited 13,542 points for that month. If your NLV is below $25,000 at month-end, no points will be credited for the following month. Your Silo account must be open and in good standing with IBKR at month-end and on the crediting date. Accrued points are credited to your Silo Points balance during the first ten days of the subsequent month.

Redemption

Silo Points are redeemable for cash at a rate of 100 points to $1, subject to a maximum cash redemption of 100,000 points per calendar month. Redemption requests are generally reviewed and processed within three to five business days, though processing may be extended if additional verification is required. Silo is currently in the process of adding future redemption options, including transfer partners and other rewards benefits, which may include separate terms and limits. Points do not expire while you maintain an active subscription. If all subscriptions are canceled and your brokerage account is no longer active or in good standing, points expire after 12 months of inactivity. Points are not property, have no cash value until redeemed under these terms, and are not transferable (beyond future Silo transfer partners), assignable, or sellable.

Account Closure and Termination

Voluntary account closure or withdrawal from the Program terminates participation immediately. Previously issued Credits are not clawed back. Termination for cause (breach, fraud, policy violations) terminates participation immediately and forfeits all pending/future Credits. Silo may seek repayment of prior Credits if termination is due to fraud. Loss of Platinum Rewards Membership terminates Status Program participation immediately.

Program Modifications and Termination

Silo retains the right to modify or terminate the Program at its discretion. In the event of terminations, members will be given thirty days written notice. If the Program is terminated, Silo will honor the remainder of the current service period and prevent automatic renewal thereafter. Silo may withhold, reverse, or adjust points or redemptions in cases of error, ineligibility, suspected fraud or abuse, or manipulation of balances near month-end.

Prohibited Conduct

Submitting fraudulent, altered, or inaccurate documentation is grounds for immediate termination of Status and Platinum membership, termination of advisory relationship, demand for repayment, and potential legal action.

Artificially inflating balances to qualify (temporary deposits, third-party coordination, margin for threshold purposes) may result in immediate disqualification. Opening multiple accounts solely to maximize Credits or other abuse may result in termination.

Taxes and Reporting

Credits issued under this Program are not considered taxable income. Silo will not issue a Form 1099 or any other tax document in connection with credits received through this Program. Members are encouraged to consult their own tax advisor regarding their individual tax situation.

Redemptions, including cash equivalents or transfers to partners, may be taxable. Where required, Silo may report redemptions to the Internal Revenue Service on Form 1099-MISC or other applicable forms. You are responsible for any tax liabilities associated with points accruals and redemptions and should consult a tax advisor.

These promoters may receive flat-fee compensation or variable compensation based on the number of clients referred, which may present a conflict of interest. Silo may issue press releases or authorize coverage by third-party publishers and may compensate such publishers with cash or soft-dollar benefits, including backlinks.
