Can I add a trusted contact person?
A trusted contact person is someone you authorize Silo Markets to contact in certain situations involving your account. Adding a trusted contact can provide an additional point of communication if Silo has concerns about your account or is unable to reach you.
A trusted contact does not automatically receive access to your account or authority to make investment decisions.
What Is a Trusted Contact?
A trusted contact is a person you designate who Silo may contact if necessary regarding your account.
For example, Silo may contact your trusted contact if there are concerns about your ability to communicate, unusual circumstances involving your account, or other situations where an additional point of contact may be appropriate.
Does a Trusted Contact Have Access to My Account?
No. Adding someone as a trusted contact does not give them permission to log in to your Silo account, view your account as you do, place trades, withdraw funds, or make investment decisions on your behalf.
A trusted contact is simply an additional person Silo may be able to reach when appropriate.
Who Should I Choose?
Choose someone you trust and who is likely to be reachable if Silo needs to contact them.
This could be a family member, close relative, or another person you trust to help communicate with you if necessary.
Make sure the person knows that you have listed them as a trusted contact.
How Do I Add or Update a Trusted Contact?
If the trusted-contact option is available for your account:
- Sign in to your Silo account.
- Open your account or profile settings.
- Look for the trusted-contact or account-information section.
- Enter the requested information.
- Review the information carefully.
- Save or submit the changes.
If you cannot find the option, contact Silo Support for assistance.
Can I Change or Remove My Trusted Contact?
You should be able to update your trusted contact information when your circumstances change, subject to Silo's account procedures.
If the person you previously listed is no longer appropriate, update or remove the information as soon as possible.
