Understanding the History Tab: Tracking Your Activity in Silo

Introduction
Every action in your investing account—buying bonds, transferring funds, receiving coupons—leaves a footprint. The History tab in the Silo app is where those footprints live. Think of it as your personal audit trail: transparent, searchable, and essential for staying on top of your portfolio’s journey.
In this guide, we’ll show you what you’ll find in the History tab, how to interpret key entries, and why it matters.

1. What You’ll See in Your History Tab
On the History tab, you’ll find a chronological list of all significant account activities, including:
- Bond orders: Review the lifecycle of each order—from pending to submitted to filled. You even have the option to cancel some orders while they’re pending.
- Bank transfers: All incoming and outgoing money movements are tracked, including status updates and cancellations (if applicable).
- Coupon payments: When you earn interest from a bond issuer, the payment appears here with details.
- Maturities: When a bond reaches its maturity date and the principal is repaid, it registers here as a corporate action, showing that the transaction completed.
Membership fee charges: If applicable, your account’s history also documents any recurring fees charged.

2. Why the History Tab Matters
The History tab isn’t just about logs—it’s about control. Keeping a clean transaction record helps you:
- Confirm that bond orders are filled as expected.
- Verify that bank transfers were processed correctly.
- Track coupon and maturity payments without guessing.
- Avoid surprises by reviewing all fees and activity in one place.
Be mindful: once a bond order is filled or a bank transfer is processed, it cannot be cancelled. Review your details carefully before confirming such transactions.
